A View from the Inside

As you can see, the audience is clearly not rioting. If there's another definition of a successful screening, I don't know what it is.

A few observations: The audience actually laughed quite a lot. Even the ones who weren't directly related to the production. A couple of rows in front of us, there were two women who were clearly there in some professional capacity and as the movie unspooled I could see them getting more and more into the story. It was gratifying.

The biggest laugh of the night? Guy's sound design during the final chase sequence, where the soundtrack music is synced up with the opening and closing of the stairway door. Guy, who cut enough jokes in post-production to make the writer weep tears of blood, got the biggest laugh of the night with his editing.

Thanks, Guy.

And congratulations, you big lug. It was awesome.

Zorg Has Arrived!

Our deepest thanks to everyone who turned out for today's screening at Tromadance! We had a great turnout and no one was seriously injured as a result of watching the movie!

And many thanks to our new friends at the historic Strand Theatre for their wonderful hospitality, and of course, to the fine people at Tromadance and The B-Movie Celebration!

This handsome lad is Ev, Ben Weatherston's son, who obviously has exceptional taste in films. You can check out some more photos from today's screening on our Facebook page.

Thanks again, everybody!
